But which MoBo do you have? Ryzen 5 3600 and Xmp with 3600mhz with oc timings, What was your original bios version? and if someone has updated their BIOS in this mobo, what problems did you have? Haven't really tried the maximum supported frequency listed on the website yet (3533MHz) but I've read that in order to get stable 3533MHz you need at least 1.405v of dram voltage, which isn't possible with this board as the BIOS limits the dram voltage to 1.4v. P.S. Or can I just pop the CPU in and be good to go ? So with that in mind I just want to get a regular B450 motherboard. I would consider to update and yes, you can update directly from 2.60 to 2.90. When you discovered this, how you got back to the older version on the bios? What can I do if some problem with newer versions happen to me? He did encounter issues running 3200Mhz memory that are for Intel processors and using the Frequency divider... my japanese is not that good so that's is what I could understand. It's okay-ish but MSI B450M Mortar is better (better VRMs/power supply). I have a question , out of the box, will this mobo need a bios update to support the r5 3600 ??? My G.Skill Flare X 3200 able to run at 3600 with stock 1.35V on 2.85 BIOS. So, I should update my BIOS? seems to cap out at 4.075GHz, maybe sometimes 4.1GHz but that appears to be an ongoing issue with all Ryzen 3000 chips, especially coming from people who aren't on X570. So I have a ryzen 3600 with this mobo + 2x8GB Geil Evo Potenza 3000mhz (XMP profile 2.0 ) and my BIOS version is the P2.60, I saw in ASRock site that newer versions of the bios have nice features that I would like to have, mainly the Destiny 2 improvement, AGESA 10.0.0.4 and the adjust to memory auto-rule and chassis smart fan function. @Inyerbones I wouldn't recommend turning that top into intake, it will disturb your airflow, also 2 exhaust are too much, you would probably be fine with just either one. Edit 1: I updated the bios, from 2.60 to 2.80 i noticed somr difference with temps, my 3600 was running like 5°C cooler, and I decided that i would update again, to 2.90 to get the new agesa, and i noticed that the cpu is consuming less wattage (hwinfo64) but it got hotter again, basically, for me, nothing changed at all, I just noticed that the bios itself had some little interface modification, i'm going to try to oc again my ram to see if works and was a bios problem, Later: tbh i tougth i got some extra performance in r20 but updating the bios just made pbo enable again, so thats why it got hotter too, so nothing really changed, the ram is 3200mhz 1.35v now, lets see if this is stable. So, I should update my BIOS?
